Users with appropriate permissions can specify a "Reply-To" and "Sender Display Name" for the emails generated for your scheduled reports and scheduled dashboard reports.

This flexibility allows you to direct replies to your selected recipient and include a user-friendly sender display name for ease of use by your end users. If not defined, this defaults to the system values.

Additionally, the Accounts API has been updated so you can retrieve and define all tenant configuration information, including SFTP file drop and STMP details.

Exporting a report to Excel now replicates the positioning and styling of its text content as seen in the browser and PDFs, including headers, value formatting, and various visual properties.

When you upgrade to this release of Symphony, you can offer self service report functionality to users of your embedded offerings in your environment.

Use the new class EmbeddedReport to embed and provide self service report functionality to your users.

You can optionally use the appropriate event listeners to create a more dynamic and responsive experience.

• You can now schedule self service reports to be sent as a one time report or on a schedule to internal and external users.

• Improvements to report generation allow you to adjust font size on your exported PDFs.

• The self service report microservice now operates independently with fail-safe mechanisms, eliminating dependencies on other microservices for autonomous processing.

• Expanded security and governance controls allow you to configure appropriate access for your users. Select the Permissions icon in the Reports Library to refine access for users on a per-user basis, or as groups, as you do in the Dashboard Library.

• Self service reports that include group headers can now include up to ten column headers in each group of a group-structured report.

• The default column count for simple and grouped reports you schedule to send in PDF format is 15, unless you specify otherwise.

Drag and drop items such as table columns in the Properties window to reorder them to any position rather than clicking to move them one position at a time.

Parameter values can optionally be placed in their own sheet or tab when exporting dashboards to Excel.

Easily apply the same text formatting to multiple measures at once using the Apply To Other Measures option.

We have introduced a number of flexible improvements to the Visual Data Discovery interface. When you work in some pop-up modals, you can resize some common columns to see more of the information about the resources you are using. Use your cursor to grab a column header break to adjust as needed.

These pop-ups include Dashboard Alerts, Dashboard Sharing, and Permissions for Sources, Visuals, and Dashboards.

You can now customize the label color for the combo chart in Visual Data Discovery if you do not want to use the themed color. Disable Inherit from theme in the Colors sidebar menu, then select the color you wish to use.

Methods for JSON serialization and deserialization are now available in data scripts such as script for Generic Web data connectors and data cube calculated elements.

By default, the Time Bar will display time information as presented in the associated data source with no offsets or bounds to the time field. If you are using UTC, this is indicated in the time bar. If the time is derived based on other settings, this is indicated in the time bar.

Corrected an issue that prevented display of source names during visual creation.

Corrected an issue that did not return multiple data type options for aggregation functions such as LAST_VALUE from api/sources/<sourceid>/expression-syntax.

Fixed a banner issue preventing the use of Dashboard Layout options for some older dashboards not yet converted to Responsive layout.

Corrected an issue in multi-tenant environments that prevented users from sharing dashboards with groups they are not members of.

The ability to deliver scheduled dashboard reports to an SFTP file location is now disabled by default. To enable this option in your environment, contact Technical Support.

Corrected an issue that displayed incorrect range dates for weeks as displayed in some bar chart visuals.

Updated the workflows used to import sources to process imports more efficiently, preventing timeouts.

Corrected an issue that incorrectly excluded records with NULL values instead of only excluding specified values.

Upgrading to this release corrects a driver issue related to connecting to a Databricks source.

Corrected a browser issue that prevented scheduled dashboard reports (XLXS and PDF) from being generated due to memory leak under heavy load.

Unnecessarily duplicated requests to data sources have been reduced especially when working with repeating views such as reports.

Clicking on a data connector from the Data page no longer opens its dialog for users with the Read privilege but not the Write privilege for that file. (File changes were never possible without Write privileges.)

Auto-generated data cubes now inherit bridge parameters from any other data cubes they use as inputs. If view parameters were already connected before adding data from another source, they may need to be reconnected to the new bridge parameters in the new auto-generated data cube.

Fixed an unexpected error reporting a missing date trimming implementation that could occur when using a data connector with a gateway.

Fixed an issue where the Data Preview for a data cube does not reflect the value of a parameter value inherited from another data cube used as a data source.

Fixed unexpected results when setting a bridge parameter default value to Data Default.

Fixed an error SizeOfHelper: Maximum depth reached that could eventually occur on some systems, requiring the application pool to be recycled or the website service to restart to resolve.

Improved validation when creating an IIS virtual directory to prevent names from containing spaces.

Prevented installation of the ASP.NET hosting module prerequisite from being attempted without the required IIS prerequisite when deploying directly on Windows.

Fixed an issue that could cause the last template cell of a responsive dashboard with certain template layouts to unexpectedly have a smaller width than the others when viewed on a mobile device.

Fixed an issue causing the configured default theme to be unexpectedly applied to an existing metric set visualization when adding it to a view such as a dashboard.

Addressed an issue that could cause error message The operation was canceled to appear for visualizations unexpectedly and intermittently under certain conditions.

Fixed an unexpected error occurring when exporting certain data to Excel that includes a hierarchy placed on Columns in the metric set when there are no rows of data.

Addressed a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that may be considered high risk affecting the logon page.
