Symphony Installation Log Files

The installation log files can help you to troubleshoot installation problems. Or, if you're already in contact with support, you may be asked to send these log files for further analysis.

Log Files - Windows

By default, the installer log files are stored in the following folder:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\LogiSymphony\Log

The usernameis the name of the user who performed the installation.

Note: The AppData folder is normally hidden in File Explorer. You can type the path and folder name directly into the address bar, or show hidden items in your environment.

Log Files - Linux

On Linux (including setup containers on Docker and Kubernetes) the log files are stored in the following directory:

/usr/share/dundas/bi/LocalApplicationData/Log
